Please remember if you want to attend in a carpool in the CAP van, you must let me know AND I need at least 2 cadets in the carpool. Otherwise you must make arrangements to your own transportation. There is a requirement for an equipment pack to participate.
As a new year of cadet activities kicks off, we are pleased to announce the return of the cadet academic bowl on Saturday February the 17th, starting 1100 at the Michigan National Guard Joint Forces Headquarters: 3423 N. Martin Luther King Blvd. MIWG academic bowl is a full-day competition event which brings together teams of cadets from across the wing to test their aerospace and leadership knowledge. As in previous years, the 2024 academic bowl will consist of a written exam, panel quiz and aerospace-themed leadership challenges. Academic bowl provides an excellent opportunity to review cadet promotions material and demonstrate the teamwork and aerospace mastery of your squadron’s cadet corps! Cadets of any grade and experience are encouraged to sign up and participate, forming teams of four with the option for squadrons to send multiple teams if possible. Lunch will be provided at the event.
